Steve has over 16 years of experience counseling and representing public and private owners, engineers, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and sureties through all stages of public, private, and federal projects, including drafting and negotiating their construction contracts, and litigating their project disputes in various state and federal courts in PA, NJ and DE.
Before joining Dynamic Energy, Steve served as Senior Counsel at Cohen, Seglias Pallas, Greenhall and Furman, P.C., a nationally ranked construction law firm, and as Attorney and Vice President of Venzie, Phillips and Warshawer, a well-respected, boutique law firm specializing in construction litigation. Steve also served as the managing attorney for that firm’s New Jersey and Delaware practices, and led the opening of its Delaware office.
Steve was named to the Super Lawyers’ Delaware and Pennsylvania Rising Stars Lists for Construction Litigation, and he is also credentialed as a USGBC LEED Green Associate.
Steve graduated law school from Villanova University where he served as a staff writer for its Environmental Law Journal. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison where he majored in conservation biology and minored in environmental studies.
In his free time, in addition to being an active fellow in his local church community, Steve serves as the head coach of both of his older son’s ice hockey teams, plays adult league ice hockey, and spends time outdoors fishing and hiking with his family.
