Information Technology Analyst

Title: Information Technology Analyst

Location: Wayne, PA or local remote

Duration: Permanent

Dynamic Energy is seeking an experienced Information Technology Analyst (IT Analyst), reporting into the Senior Director – Procurement & Systems, to join our growing team. The IT Analyst will be able to leverage tech solutions to meet organizational needs. This role is a great opportunity for a candidate who enjoys interacting with people, has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to properly prioritize and multi-task. The team works in a remote setting that will require you to communicate effectively, maintain focus and self-motivate.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze IT requirements and provide objective advice on the use of IT that aligns with organizational factors, financial considerations, viability of the system to meet the needs of the organization and the impact of new or modified system on users
  • Support operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating requests and recommend solutions
  • Serve as support for cloud computing including but not limited to IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and BaaS
  • Define and deliver recommendations to improve performance through systems automation
  • Ability to create and maintain documentation on technology processes and policies
  • Provide relevant new user technology training and materials to assist with onboarding new talent
  • Assist in developing and managing IT/IS related vendors as necessary, including conducting RFx, and proposal review
  • Assist in overseeing asset management of company-owned equipment
  • Other duties as defined by organization

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT/IS
  • Must have minimum of 3+ years in professional IT/IS Analyst experience
  • Experience in renewable energy organizations, preferred
  • Knowledge of databases, data processes, program architectures, including but not limited to IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and BaaS support and management
  • Experience in Asset Management
  • Familiarity with a range of hardware and software systems, including but not limited to SalesForce, Procore, Sage
  • Strong data management abilities
  • Strong analytic skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office suite

Construction Manager

Title: Construction Manager

Location: New Jersey area or Local Remote (Up to 75% regional travel required)

Duration: Permanent

Start: ASAP

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manages all sub-contractors for timely completion, quality, ensure project is built according to plans, specifications, schedule and budget.
  • Oversee and coordinate various construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that safety, quality, scope, schedule, budget and customer requirements are followed.
  • Document delays/changes; Daily Completion of RFI’s
  • Directs and supervises field personnel with daily schedules including people, equipment, materials, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.
  • Read, interpret and understand all project documentation such as insurance, permitting, project scheduling, QA/QC requirements, blueprints, schematics, maintenance manuals, and assembly instruction
  • Maintain and monitor quality standards
  • Ability to make mathematical computations for load calculations
  • Coordinate meetings, or contact permitting, building, public works, fire, and police officials as required
  • Will be required to travel regionally 75% of the time

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of professional construction management experience within the solar industry
  • Strong understanding of safety and OSHA (OSHA 30 certificate) standards as it relates construction.
  • Experience in electrical underground conduit and terminations
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite construction software such as Procore and MS Project.
  • Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations, engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings.
  • Previous experience working on 500kw+ Solar Projects ground mount, rooftop and carport
  • Experienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work
  • Proficiency with reading blueprints, plans, specs, contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
  • Knowledgeable of electrical codes (AC and DC), occupational hazards connected with electrical work and ensuring compliance with Company safety policies and OSHA and/or MSHA safety standards
  • Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather (may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs at a time

Project Development Analyst

Title: Project Development Analyst 

Location: Remotely based in the Mid-Atlantic or New England region with periodic travel to the Wayne, PA headquarters and Boston, MA area. Due to COVID-19, work initially will be performed remotely.

Dynamic Energy seeks a Project Development Analyst to support the growth of our distributed generation and community solar development pipeline. The Project Development Analyst contributes to the success of Dynamic Energy by supporting all facets of new project site identification, diligence, and ultimately development. The position is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, highly experienced team as the platform seeks growth in new markets throughout the United States. The position provides on-the-job training, mentorship, and skill development with the expectation of future advancement into a developer role at Dynamic. The ideal candidate will be creative, self-motivated, and highly interested in learning all facets of the industry and project development. Key Responsibilities:

 

    • Work with various members of the Development Team to manage our GIS-based land search for new project sites throughout the United States.
    • Diligence all sites using desktop analysis to investigate and screen site characteristics including topography, wetlands, environmental attributes, soils and geotechnical, access, and interconnection.
    • Create and manage landowner specific proposals, including investigating landowner personal contact information.
    • Support interaction with utilities and third-party interconnection consultants to support land search strategy.
    • Manage our Salesforce system for new lead and pipeline tracking.
    • Support our internal and external landowner management personnel in their negotiations with new landowner partners.
    • Investigate and report on new market policy activities, including proposed legislative bills, existing programs and policy, interconnection queues, retail energy pricing, etc; Also, support communication with state level trade/advocacy groups.
    • Manage the financial modeling of projects as the pipelines advance in various markets.
    • Support all facets of project development, from on-site survey and investigation, design, permitting, and interconnection.
    • Coordinate with regional environmental/permitting/civil partners to identify permitting and environmental requirements and fatal flaws, work to establish and deep understanding of the permitting nuances of each state in the target region. Work with community/permitting authorities as need to establish positive relationships.
    • Assist in detailed designs, work with design leads on Development Team to vet fatal flaws, permitting requirements, and optimal site use.
    • Work with developers, management team, and finance leads to review and establish financial model inputs; also support power marketing and offtake analysis.

 

A Successful Candidate will Possess the Following Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative or engineering major
  • 0-3 years of experience working in the solar industry, preferably supporting distributed generation, community solar, or utility-scale project development
  • Demonstrable sophistication with respect to Excel financial modeling
  • Flexibility to tackle emerging work as needed
  • Precise attention to detail
  • Strong interest to develop a career in the solar industry
  • Highly organized individual and creative problem solver

 

Compensation 

The Project Development Analyst is an exempt, full-time position. Dynamic Energy’s compensation for the right candidate is highly competitive. Business Development Representative

Dynamic Energy is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our growing team. The Development Team focuses on organization, development, and financing of front-of-meter distributed generation and commercial-scale PV and PV + battery systems throughout the United States.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
  • 1+ year of professional Sales/Business Development experience preferred
  • Strong interest in sales and business development
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities are essential
  • Solar industry experience is a PLUS
  • Strong project management, analytics, and problem-solving skills are strongly preferred
