Sr. VP of Permitting and Development Execution

Nichole Coulter serves as the Senior Vice President of Permitting and Development Execution at Dynamic, overseeing the company's development execution and permitting team. In this role, she leads the delivery of large-scale solar and/or solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects to NTP-ready status.  

Nichole's team handles site development, permitting, entitlements, environmental compliance, and other construction-ready tasks, working closely with the construction team to mitigate risks and ensure smooth project execution. Additionally, Nichole collaborates with other company teams to inform strategic decision-making regarding project prioritization and resource allocation, leveraging her market-specific permitting and site development expertise. 

Nichole brings nearly three decades of experience in environmental sciences and renewable energy development to her role. From starting as an intern at the EPA in the mid-90s, she transitioned through ecological research and environmental consulting before finding her niche in solar energy development in 2014. 

With a background in biology and natural resources science, Nichole's expertise lies in project and team management. Her career includes stints at SolarCity/Tesla, Dimension Energy, and DSD Renewables, where she continues to learn and excel. 

Nichole balances her professional life with her personal passions. She enjoys gardening, travel, roller skating, snorkeling, cooking, snowboarding, Quizzo, crosswords, live music, and true crime documentaries
