John Motta is responsible for business development for Dynamic Energy. He has diverse experience in the solar industry, ranging from development and EPC management on utility scale projects in California, to development of community shared solar and rooftop and carport canopy projects in Massachusetts’ net metering markets. He has expertise in land development and project financing, and leverages his unique background to execute on a wide range of projects and client needs.
Prior to joining Dynamic Energy, John worked at SunEdison in the Commercial and Industrial group, focused on developing distributed solar assets in the New England markets. He also spent several years at AES Solar/Silver Ridge Power and Lightsource Renewables developing and constructing utility scale solar plants in the Southwest US.
John holds an MBA from San Diego State University, Summa Cum Laude, with a focus in Entrepreneurship, and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Virginia Tech.
