Brief

Dynamic Energy Solutions, LLC has completed construction on two solar PV systems for the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. The total 850 kW project consists of a 589-kW roof-mounted system at the Regional Food Bank’s facility in Latham, NY and a 261 kW roof-mounted system at their Food Bank of the Hudson Valley branch, located in Cornwall, NY.

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) facilitated the project through its solar incentives program under NY-Sun, a statewide initiative under Governor Andrew M. Cuomo to increase the number of solar electric systems across the State. The systems will deliver an estimated savings of $520,000 over a 25-year period at no up-front cost to the Food Bank through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) provided by KIIT Renewable Energy (KRE).
